2024-04-24 Custom Fields amended for People/Companies

  • Previously, Administrators created custom fields with the intention of facilitating effective use by colleagues. However, accessibility was limited, hindering efficient data entry.
  • We also wanted custom fields of People and Companies to function similar to custom fields for Documents.

Implemented changes:

    • Revised custom fields functionality to match document custom fields.
    • Introduced a section between Details & Contact during record creation and editing.

    • Ensured visibility of all relevant custom fields for the Audience Type on the create/edit record page.

    • Incorporated descriptions for custom fields below the fields, if available.

    • Removed the Custom Field section from the Overview page on the right.
    • Displayed custom fields with values under Personal Details on the Record View Page.
