2024-04-24 Custom Fields amended for People/Companies
Previously, Administrators created custom fields with the intention of facilitating effective use by colleagues. However, accessibility was limited, hindering efficient data entry.
We also wanted custom fields of People and Companies to function similar to custom fields for Documents.
Implemented changes:
Revised custom fields functionality to match document custom fields.
Introduced a section between Details & Contact during record creation and editing.
Ensured visibility of all relevant custom fields for the Audience Type on the create/edit record page.
Incorporated descriptions for custom fields below the fields, if available.
Removed the Custom Field section from the Overview page on the right.
Displayed custom fields with values under Personal Details on the Record View Page.
